Bonza launches its own line of Budgie Smugglers with new uniform partner

Budget Aussie airline, Bonza, has appointed Total Image Group to design and manufacture the first-ever uniform range for the airline alongside a range of ‘Bonza Budgies’.

Total Image Group has first been charged with creating bespoke ‘Bonza Budgies’ that will be ‘coming to a flight near you’ when the low-cost carrier takes to Australian skies in mid-2022.

Chief commercial officer at Bonza, Carly Povey, said that Total Image Group were selected due to their modern forward thinking approach and strong track record.

“Uniforms are not just something our Bonza Legends will wear on the job. They’re a key part of communicating what Bonza is all about and demonstrating we’re different to what Australians have seen before in terms of airlines,” Povey said.

“Uniforms are so often functional in nature but far from fun to wear, we believe both can and should be achieved.

“Our uniforms will be designed with our legends in mind. We want them to be worn with pride by those who welcome our customers every day.

“Pamela and the team at Total Image Group are everything we look for in a partner; entrepreneurial Aussies who have worked hard to achieve great things and are truly excited about helping bring Bonza to life.”

Head designer and CEO of Total Image Group, Pamela Jabbour, is excited about the collaboration and what it will bring for both companies.

“We are thrilled to be working with Bonza and have the privilege of bringing to life the brand with its first ever uniform range. Bonza is authentically Aussie in every way – down to earth, fun, and full of energy and we’ll be bringing that to life with uniforms.”

Jabbour is particularly excited about the new Bonza Budgies and how the airline will have its own version of the Aussie swimwear.

“What better way to kick things off than an iconic piece of Aussie swimwear. The Bonza Budgies are perfect for your carry-on when you hop aboard to explore more of our incredible backyard.”
