QT Hotels & Resorts updates its leadership team with two big promotions

QT Hotels & Resorts has a lot to celebrate this morning, with the addition of two new faces to its leadership team.

Dominic Rose – QT Gold Coasts new general manager

The designer hotel collection, which is owned by EVENT Hospitality and Entertainment, has appointed Dominic Rose as the general manager of QT Gold Coast.

First joining EVENT in 2008, Rose has moved from his role as general manager of Rydges South Bank to growing with QT Gold Coast, forming part of the opening team to his former role as group food and beverage director.

With decades of experience leading food and beverage, Rose will continue to grow QT Gold Coast’s reputation as the Sunshine State’s designer destination for everything from award-winning restaurants and bars to conferencing and boutique accommodation.

Cian McClafferty has also stepped into a new role, with a promotion to general manager at QT Canberra.

Since joining EVENT in 2013, QT has always been close to McClafferty’s heart. His experience with the brand has seen him lead operations at the flagship QT Sydney, QT Bondi and QT Queenstown.

“I have every confidence in the growth of our leadership team, as we start the year strong with these appointments,” Callum Kennedy, group general manager of QT Hotels & Resorts said.

“QT is in a great position to continue to disrupt through innovation, by keeping agile through our commitment to delivering the unexpected.

“Our team of amazing talent is a testament to the unwavering strength of the brand. Each member brings invaluable knowledge to an already passionate and eclectic team who deliver our highly individualised signature service throughout our hubs of quirky luxury.”
