Aussie tour company launches domestic yoga and wellness trip

An Aussie tour operator has just launched what it claims to be the country’s first yoga and wellness tour.

Australian Wildlife Adventures has released a four-day ‘Yoga and Wellness Glamping’ adventure, which will depart from Perth monthly.

With 85 per cent of its market coming from overseas before COVID, the tour operator launched the new trip to diversify its product to appeal to the domestic market.

“One of our long term guides is also a yoga instructor and being from the South West has always wanted to create this sort of tour,” a spokesperson for Australian Wildlife Adventures said.

“We thought it was an amazing idea so supported her in contacting a range of local businesses in Australia’s South West, to develop an incredibly unique tour product.”

The tour will include SUP yoga with a world-renowned yogini in Geographe Bay, a spice masterclass with Sarina the Spice Mistress, tasting organic and local produce at Margaret River, meeting a Wadandi custodian and a blissful sound meditation session.

There is also plenty of opportunities for forest bathing with hiking at Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and the Cape to Cape track with a local healer and meditation expert,

All while roughing it in style, glamping at the award-winning permaculture farm, Fair Harvest.
