Celebrity Cruises reveals plans for local 2021-22 summer sailings

Celebrity Cruises has just provided a sneak peek at its plans for local 2021-22 summer sailings featuring some banger Aussie, New Zealand and South Pacific trips.

Making her debut in local waters for the very first time, Celebrity Eclipse will set sail from 18 October 2021 through 17 April 2022 with 19 luxurious voyages featuring custom itinerary programming identified through market research and valuable travel partner feedback.

“Bringing the unique desires of the Australian and New Zealand guest to the forefront of our programming has allowed us to deliver on what our local market desires from a holiday experience and in turn, support our regional tourism market,” Tim Jones, regional vice president and managing director of Celebrity Cruises, said.

“The 21-22 Celebrity Eclipse season will be far from ordinary, truly bringing to life the amazing destinations we visit and we’re excited to release more information over the coming months.

“We’re an innovative brand by design, and this mindset has allowed us to really overdeliver with the experience on offer.”

And, because holidays should be effortless from the start, WiFi, drinks and service charges are now ‘Always Included’ on every Celebrity cruise, simplifying the luxury holiday experience.

Here’s a preview of what’s on offer:

Sun and beach escapes:

Clients can explore Australia’s stunning coastline and indulge in once-in-a-lifetime experiences, swim in the pristine blue waters of Fiji, and continue the island vibes on board with locally influenced dining and expertly-crafted cocktails.

Highlight experience: Sleep under the stars on a private pontoon floating above the Great Barrier Reef, including exclusive first light access to the reef.

Highlight itinerary: 11-night Great Barrier Reef cruise, 8 February 2022.

Food and wine classics

Here, your clients can sample the best local produce on offer while cruising port to port, enhance their wine appreciation as local winemakers provide exclusive experiences both onboard and shoreside, savour cocktails made from locally-sourced ingredients on the Celebrity Eclipse Lawn Club; a top deck made from a quarter acre of real grass – the first and only cruise line to manage this feat.

Highlight experience: Discover exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Australia and New Zealand’s most-loved products to discover how your favourite beer is brewed or cheese is matured.

Highlight itinerary: 10-night New Zealand cruise, 24 November 2021.

Five-star getaways

Clients can revel in the luxurious accommodations and enjoy the most awarded wine range at sea while Celebrity takes care of them every whim. The Retreat offers exclusive spaces, amenities and experiences for guests seeking a short break packed with the finest offerings.

Highlight experience: The unparalleled spa experience at the Persian Garden featuring world-renowned spa treatments and aromatic steam room.

Highlight itinerary: 5-night Sydney-to-Tasmania cruise, 4 December 2021.

Caribbean, Europe and South America

Today also marks the release of Celebrity Cruises updated 2021-2022 Summer sailings program for the Caribbean, Europe and South America. The new offerings are highlighted by an expanded Caribbean presence with new seven-night and overnight itineraries; new Spain and Portugal itineraries in Europe; and an exciting new homeport and new shorter itineraries in South America.

Celebrity Cruises is applying the recommendations of its Healthy Sail Panel of public health and scientific experts to ensure a safer and healthier cruise holiday on all of its sailings.
