Drinks, WiFi and tips to be included for all Celebrity Cruises holidays

Celebrity Cruises is making drinks, WiFi and service charges included at no extra charge for all of its cruise holidays.

The new approach, which the line has called ‘Always Included’, will be rolled out across its ships from 18 November.

Tim Jones, vice president and managing director of Celebrity Cruises for Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific, said 2020 has provided a unique opportunity to reflect on how the cruise line can continue to innovate and deliver memorable holiday experiences for guests.

“More than two out of three guests who are new to cruise or first-time Celebrity cruisers are seeking the luxury of a simplified experience where everything is included in the price,” he said.

“Our new pricing structure delivers on this, so guests can focus on enjoying the wonder of a Celebrity cruise.”

The extras come with a new standard rate for each holiday Celebrity sells.

Royal Caribbean Group, Celebrity’s parent company, has extended its pause for sailings on all its lines excluding from Singapore.

Both Dream Cruises and Royal Caribbean received approval from the Singapore government to pilot cruises out of the country in November and December respectively to give travel starved residents a taste of the cruise experience without going anywhere.

Celebrity Cruises has already suspended their full 2020/21 Winter program in Australia and Asia while Azamara has suspended their 2020/21 Winter sailings throughout Australia and New Zealand, South Africa and South America.

Royal Caribbean Group includes Azamara, Celebrity Cruises, Silversea and Royal Caribbean International.
