Plane passenger proposes using inflight dessert menu

We love a good inflight engagement story, and this one from Cathay Pacific is particularly sweet.

We apologise for the horrible pun.

The airline hosted a particularly creative marriage proposal on a recent flight from Hong Kong to Sydney, where a passenger named Stuart popped the question using the inflight menu.

The airline’s crew worked closely with Stuart to pull off the surprise proposal, designing a dessert menu where the chef’s recommendation read: “Will you marry me Bec?”

Stuart and his now fiance Rebecca received a special shout-out from the flight’s captain, Peter Brown as well as much fanfare and congratulations from their fellow passengers.
