Hong Kong Tourism Board’s regional boss to depart after 17 years

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has announced the departure of its longstanding regional director for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, Andrew Clark.

The HKTB expressed its gratitude to Clark for his contribution to Hong Kong’s tourism industry since being appointed to the role way back in 2003.

Commenting on his departure, Clark said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the industry for their support over the years – it’s been a real pleasure to have worked with so many travel professionals.

“We at the HKTB treasure our relationships with our key trade partners, and I’m sure this will continue as we all strive to be a successful part of the post-COVID -19 environment.

The HKTB said it will begin a search shortly to identify a successor to lead the development and implementation of the destination’s marketing strategies in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
