Win $2,500 in travel credit with the ‘Amazing Thailand Trivia Challenge’!

Beautiful sunshine at misty morning mountains at north thailand

Keen to flex your Thai trivia muscles? Take the ‘Amazing Thailand Trivia Challenge’ for the chance to win thousands of dollars’ worth of travel credit.

Launched by the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT’s) Sydney office, the new trivia campaign is being rolled out across Oceania to keep agents and travellers alike dreaming of their next holiday in beautiful Thailand.

What’s more, agents can go in the running to win one of two Webjet travel vouchers valued at $2,500, with a winner each announced in Australia and New Zealand.

“Being at home doesn’t mean people can’t be inspired to start planning their next escapes,” TAT Sydney’s director, Suladda Sarutilavan, said.

“We have initiated The Amazing Thailand Trivia Challenge to keep Australians and New Zealanders dreaming of their next Thailand holiday and hopefully the challenge will also contribute to their mental health during lockdown.

“Entrants can also invite and challenge their family and friends to beat their scores as this campaign is designed to play online.”

Running from 30 April to 27 May, the campaign consists of four challenges in four categories for entrants to complete: ‘Thailand in General’, ‘Thailicious’, ‘Attractions’, and ‘Stay Active & Healthy’.

Everyone in the region is invited to join the trivia challenge for a chance to win, with the campaign accessed via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and AmazingThailand.com.au.

In an effort to entertain travel professionals in lockdown, TAT’s Sydney office has also partnered with renowned Australian Thai restaurant chain, Chat Thai, to run live-streamed cooking classes on Facebook every Friday afternoon at 4pm (EST).

A further partnership has been established with Sydney-based PTJ Muay Thai Gym to provide live-streamed Muay Thai classes.

“There will be eight cooking classes in total, running weekly until 15th May 2020 and four Muay Thai classes,” Sarutilavan said.

“This is a great way to stay healthy and fit while staying at home,” Sarutilavan said.
