Viking unveils new online trade marketing centre

Viking Cruises has announced the launch of a brand-new marketing centre for Australian and New Zealand travel partners.

The purpose-built centre will operate as a central resource for relevant and up-to-date Viking agent marketing materials and tools, and will be located within the cruise company’s existing travel agent portal.

Easy-to-access collateral that showcases current promotions and pricing will be available via the marketing centre, such as flyers, digital banners, video and social media assets like tiles, images, and suggested copy to help agents draft their Facebook or Instagram posts.

Viking’s new marketing centre will also help agents design their email marketing campaigns, allowing them to customise the template and send directly from the portal, or download and send from their own platform.

If agents can’t find what they’re looking for via the marketing centre, they can simply contact Viking for a custom specification.

In addition, the marketing centre features digital versions of all current brochures and links to order hard copies; information on group bookings, including the handy downloadable guide; and within the travel agent portal, agents have the ability to manage existing client bookings.

Erin Kramer, trade marketing manager at Viking, said the marketing centre will help agents grow their business and earn more commission.

“The brand-new platform can be found within the existing travel agent portal and makes it easy to seamlessly customise Viking marketing materials with your agency’s contact details and call to action,” she explained.

“Then the marketing centre will generate a personalised file for you, ready to go.”

To access the travel agent portal and the marketing centre, agents can use their existing portal login or contact Viking to create an account by emailing agents.anz@vikingcruises.com.
