Rail Europe has found a new home at Level 8, 276 Flinders St, Melbourne.
Featuring a more modern space, any correspondence with the Rail Europe Australia team through mail can be directed to this address effective immediately. All phone numbers remain the same.
Hertz embarks on new ‘Mini adventure’ adding the iconic car to its British collection
Hertz UK, part of Hertz Global Holdings has added the iconic MINI Cooper, the MINI One and the MINI Countryman to its British Collection – a range of high-end vehicles and ‘Best-of-British’ services and products.
To launch the expansion, Hertz has asked the widely recognised vehicle wrapping company Yannimize to “dress up” some of its MINI cars in vinyl, featuring three eye-catching designs. The artwork showcases the traditional red, white and blue of the Union Jack, and 16 typically British cultural references for customers to spot, adding to the fun.
Eurail black Friday promotion
Black Friday is here again – and this time, it lasts more than a weekend. For one full week, Eurail is rolling back the price on all of its Eurail Global Passes, starting November 25th through December 2nd. Travellers opting for a 1st class Global Pass can now save 15 per cent on their travel Pass, while those opting for a 2nd class Pass will get a 10 per cent discount.
Dragoman overland launches 15 per cent off cuber flash sale

Queensland Rail chooses Open Destinations’ travel studio system
Queensland Rail has selected the Travel Studio enterprise technology platform as the new Travel Booking System for its long-distance travel and tourism business. The multi-million-dollar deal sees Queensland Rail enter into a long-term partnership with travel technology specialists Open Destinations, who have successfully implemented Travel Studio in over 30 countries worldwide. Open Destinations will be supplying a full SaaS solution to Queensland Rail.
This latest partnership further strengthens Open Destinations’ credentials as the leading technology supplier for leisure rail companies worldwide. Queensland Rail joins a growing list of established rail operators including Great Southern Rail, Belmond, and Alaska Railroad currently powering their leisure rail businesses through Travel Studio.
