Epic 2,060km ‘Māori New Zealand Cycling Adventure’ unveiled by Ride & Seek

Ride & Seek is thrilled to announce its first foray into the Southern Hemisphere with the only cycling tour on the market traversing the North and South Islands of New Zealand.

In keeping with the company’s pioneering “luxpedition” format, the 24-day, 2,000+ km “Māori New Zealand Cycling Adventure” leads intrepid travelers on a bold expedition from Auckland to Queenstown, through the thermal wonderland of Rotorua, Tongariro National Park, the land of volcanoes made famous by Lord of the Rings, unspoiled coastlines, and the stunning Southern Alps.

Guests will finish each day at hand-picked hotels and lodges with ample opportunities to sample New Zealand’s world-class wine, fresh seafood, and unique coffee culture. Broken into two stages, Auckland to Wellington and Wellington to Queenstown, the tour is slated for February 8 – March 2, 2020 and starts at  €4,860 for one stage.

International Rail promotes Eurail save and give

International Rail has welcomed the start of a new charity initiative introduced by Eurail, that will run from now until July 16 and believes it is a great way to engage agents to provide for clients looking to make a difference with their overseas travel experiences, said owner and managing director Jonathan Hume.

The “Save and Give” promotion, offers a five percent discount on Eurail passes for passengers and with every sale Eurail will donate $25 across two global charities, Make a Wish Foundation and Doctors Without Borders.

Jayco takes high-tech luxury to new heights with the world-first voice-activated production caravan

Australians are first in the world to experience a new level of luxury caravanning with the introduction of the world-first voice activated production RV, thanks to the market leading technology and innovation by award-winning caravan and RV manufacturer, Jayco.

For the first time ever, Jayco’s signature Silverline 2019 range comes with a personal virtual assistant – Amazon Alexa –  making voice commands possible in a production RV. Voice commands range from “Alexa, play songs by my favourite artist” and “Alexa, check today’s weather forecast”through to “Alexa, change my TV channel”.

2018 recorded the highest number of domestic caravan and camping visitors in history, growing by a massive 71 per cent from the year prior.
