Silversea Cruises is offering agents a bonus 5 per cent commission on all new bookings made between 1 – 30 June 2019 on its range of expedition voyages in 2020. Silversea celebrates 25th anniversary
Silversea Cruises passes a milestone in 2019: 25 years as the industry’s leading ultra-luxury cruise line, hosting half a million guests on approximately 4,100 voyages since 1994. Robert Morgenstern confirmed to join international speakers at Cruise360
The cruise industry’s key annual forum Cruise360 Australasia will embrace the worldwide revolution underway in shore excursions, with Holland America Group operations chief Robert Morgenstern confirmed to join international speakers at the August event.
Held on Friday August 30 at Hyatt Regency Sydney, CLIA’s 2019 Cruise360 Australasia conference will offer a full-day line-up of expert speakers and panel sessions, as well as a trade show for cruise industry exhibitors. It will be preceded by a dedicated Executive Partner Product and Destination Showcase as well as a ship inspection aboard Princess Cruises’ Sea Princess on August 29.

The Globus family of brands sets sail towards sustainability and announces support for The Ocean Cleanup
On World Environment Day, the Globus family of brands announced plans to increase sustainability efforts and reduce waste while contributing to The Ocean Cleanup: a non-profit organisation focused on ridding the world’s oceans of plastics.
As part of its increased sustainability efforts, the Globus family of brands – comprised of Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways – is asking travellers to choose e-documents over printed travel itineraries, prior to their holidays.

Oceania Cruises unveils a remastered Riviera
Oceania Cruises has revealed enhancements that were recently completed during the Riviera’s dry-dock in Marseille, France as part of the brand’s OceaniaNEXT program.
Similar enhancements will be carried out on Riviera’s sister-ship Marina in May 2020.
The most dramatic change is the all-new coffee bar area in addition to the new lounge with sweeping sea views on Deck 14. Aurora Expeditions announces expansion of fleet
Aurora Expeditions has today announced it has entered into an agreement with shipbuilder Sunstone to build a second X-Bow expedition ship, for delivery in spring 2021.
Sister ship to the soon-to-be-launched Greg Mortimer, the second purpose-built expedition vessel will be similar in design and feature the industry-transforming X-Bow technology; an inverted bow concept that allows for gentler sea crossings, reduced emissions and improved comfort.
