Luxury cruise and tour operator Scenic Group has recognised the 2018 achievements of the top-performing travel agencies and consultants in Australia and New Zealand.

More than 240 guests attended Scenic’s annual Night of Stars event on Saturday night at Ivy in Sydney, which was hosted by Catriona Rowntree and David Whitehill.

The gala event featured entertainment ranging from a Cuban-inspired opening to a New York jazz band and a grand finale inspired by cabaret and a vintage circus ensemble.

Six national honours were presented at the ceremony, along with awards to the top offices in each state for both the Scenic and Evergreen brands.

Ten agents were awarded Diamond status for 2018 as part of Scenic’s specialist partner program.

Scenic’s group general manager of sales and marketing for Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, Anthony Laver, extended his congratulations to all the nominees and winners.

“This year, the Scenic Group showcased more than three decades of innovation and excellence – the success of which is closely aligned with the strong relationships we have with our partner agents and consultants,” he said.

“The Night of Stars event is our chance to recognise those outstanding achievements.”
