WIN tickets to Australian Museum’s blockbuster new exhibition

Looking for something to keep the kids occupied over the summer holidays?

Lucky for you, the Australian Museum has just opened a blockbuster new exhibition called Whales | Tohorā, which promises to bring visitors eye-to-eye with the world’s largest animals.

The immersive exhibition explores the diversity, biology and adaptation of whales to life in their oceans and celebrates their role in South Pacific Islanders’ rich cultural history.

The best part? You could win a free family pass! All you have to do is email your name and address to alexandra@travelweekly.com.au and answer this question:

Who has the Australian Museum partnered with to encourage visitors to reduce their plastic usage?

The winner will be drawn on Friday the 7th of December so stay tuned!

In case you need more convincing to enter, here are some highlights from the exhibition:

-Be enthralled by the sheer variety, size and scale of whale skeletons, including the 18-metre skeleton of a Bull Sperm Whale.

-Walk through a life-sized heart of a Blue Whale.

-Hear a symphony of whale noises in the sound chamber.

-Enjoy breathtaking live footage from the deep ocean.

-Get hands-on and touch the vertebra and rib of a fin whale.

-Uncover the rich whale-riding stories and traditions of the Māori culture. Created by the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. This exhibition was made possible through the support of the New Zealand Government.
