WATCH: P&O’s hilarious new ads will brighten your day

P&O Cruises has released a new ad campaign centred around it’s three and four-day itineraries – and we’ve never wanted to take a short break more.

The ‘Sometimes We All Need A Short Break’ campaign highlights the ever-stressful, day to day moments, where you just want to press pause on life.

From ducking out of the dentist’s chair to dodging a painful wax, the series of short clips emphasises the ease with which Australians can rejuvenate on aP&O Cruise, shining a light on the variety of Short Break trips the cruise line provides.

Our fave is the dentist clip:

P&O Cruises Marketing Director Narelle Riley said that short breaks are becoming more and more popular with Aussies.

“Australians are taking more short breaks than ever before, and as the brand that has pioneered three and four-night cruising in this market, we want to put our mark on this fast-growing category.

“We love the simplicity of the ‘Sometimes We All Need A Short Break’ proposition and its ability to deliver a fun and engaging campaign,” she said.

The campaign was produced by creative agency Bashful, who have partnered with P&O on three previous campaigns.

Bashful Creative Director Tim Chenery added that the campaign was good fun to work on – and that everyone can relate to life being stressful.

“Everyone needs a short breather once in a while. Work can be hard and life can be stressful –we can all relate to that. P&O Cruises makes getting away from the everyday easy. We had fun pushing this simple insight into something that made us smile,” he said.
