Hawaii women’s basketball team concludes pre-season international tour

The Rainbow Wahines have finished their first ever international tour.

Last week, the Hawaiian Airlines sponsored University of Hawai‘i women’s basketball team, concluded its first ever pre-season international tour of Australia and New Zealand. A highlight of the tour was when the Rainbow Wahine visited the GIANTS Netball team in Sydney, also sponsored by Hawaiian Airlines.

The visit included touring their facilities, along with wishing them well for their impending preliminary final weekend of action.

Judging by all of the sunny smiles, both hosts and visitors enjoyed the opportunity to “talk story,” learning about each other’s training and preparation techniques.
