Excite tailors Singapore for different travel types
Excite Holidays, in conjunction with Singapore tourism board, have launched a fresh new campaign, Singapore Tailor Made.
From now until Sunday 16 July, they will showcase to agents all the incredible experiences, activities, and unique opportunities on offer in this exciting island nation.
The curated website breaks down travel opportunities for specific travellers – including empty nesters, millennials, foodies and luxury travellers.
A two-page downloadable guide has also been compiled for agents to use as a quick and easy reference. The website and guide can be found here.
Check out the match-making fun here:
FOR FOODIES
For the avid foodie, Singapore will take you on a diverse and exciting gastronomic experience. Explore the local delights in Chinatown, sample the trendy coffee shops and dine at the many contemporary fine-dining establishments.
Try Gold Brew and Unicorn Tears at Dapper Coffee, and for tea lovers, head to Looksee Looksee on Haji Lane. Open Farm Community serves up seasonal dishes made with locally sourced produce, while Tarte by renowned pastry chef, Cheryl Koh, will entice you with their artisanal treats.
In the evening, take the elevator to 1-Altitude Rooftop Gallery & Bar, the highest alfresco bar in the world, for an evening of cocktails, dining and bask in the sweeping city views.
FOR FAMILIES
The family-friendly city will keep those of all ages entertained from day to night. In the morning, sample the brunch menu and coffee at Kith Café, before strolling through the iconic Gardens By the Bay, a spectacular sanctuary filled with lush greenery, and vertical gardens, known as Supertrees, that illuminate during a light and sound show twice nightly.
Walk along the OCBC Skyway, located 22 meters above the ground and take in the views of the garden, before gasping in awe at the world’s tallest indoor waterfall in the Cloud Forest.
For a full day of adventure, head to Universal Studios and get the adrenaline pumping with exhilarating rides and attractions, including TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, and Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure™, or zip-line across the beach on Sentosa Island.
By night, immerse yourself in Future World at ArtScience Museum, or race on carts along thrilling tracks and tunnels at Skyline Luge Sentosa.
FOR MILLENNIALS
Get lost in the plethora of cultural attractions, trendy cafes and shops in the urban jungle. Coffee enthusiasts will enjoy the hole-in-the-wall MavRX Coffee Apothecary, serving quality and exotic brews like a piccolo served in waffle cones.
It’s not just the futuristic glass architecture that will impress you at ION Orchard, but also the incredible selection of shops, restaurants, and the creative ION Art gallery.
To see the best of the city in a day, join a small-group Singapore Highlights Bike Tour, while for laidback vibes, head to Tanjong Beach Club, for poolside cocktails, seafood cuisine and sundown parties, before experiencing the roaring Singapore nightlife at hidden bars like Operation Dagger and the ultra hip CÉ LA VI Restaurant and Sky Bar atop the iconic Marina Bay Sands.
FOR LUXURY LOVERS
Those seeking indulgence will be allured by Singapore’s multitude of luxury experiences and world-class services.
Enjoy a day at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, which is home to more than 170 premium retail brands, popular cafes and trendy bars, or take a spin in an F1 car and get behind the wheel of a Ferrari or Lamborghini, or take a seat trackside at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix and experience the action firsthand.
Feel like a relaxing afternoon? Unwind with a swim and cocktails overlooking the incredible city skyline at the Infinity Pool at Marina Bay Sands, or immerse yourself in the food scene and sample the Singaporean flavours at Labyrinth, taste test the innovative dishes 282 metres above ground at Stellar at 1-Altitude.
Alternatively, enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at the Premium Sky Dining Flight, which offers a 4-course meal in a capsule and 360-degree views over Singapore.
FOR EMPTY NESTERS
Singapore is the ultimate place to treat yourself and indulge in unique experiences. Enjoy a session at the exclusive Sentosa Golf Club and sample local Japanese cuisine at Sushi Kondo, discover Singapore’s World War II history at Changi Museum, or join a private Heritage Sightseeing Tour that takes you through Little India and along colonial English streets.
For lunch, high tea or cocktails, dine at The Landing Point at The Fullerton Bay Hotel, or Odette Restaurant, one of the city’s most exclusive eateries. Take an evening stroll along Southern Ridges, a nine-kilometre strip of green outdoors that fuses art and nature.
And after a day of sightseeing, experience authentic local dishes and dining rituals in a local Singaporean home, or visit Smoke & Mirrors, a rooftop bar and restaurant that overlooks the city, for a nightcap.
