United brings trivia to Adelaide

United Airlines is continued its much loved annual trivia nights with a stopover in Adelaide on Wednesday, September 7.

Approximately 100 travel consultants from Adelaide were quizzed on their knowledge of several US destinations including; Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Washington D.C. Further questions focused on United’s new Polaris Business Product as well as other new product offerings from the carrier.

United trivia nights have become renowned for the prizes on offer. Winner of the night, Jemimah Lanyon from CWT received return tickets to Los Angeles and Las Vegas packaged with accommodation, entry to some local attractions plus other added benefits.

Karin McDonald also from CWT received return tickets to Los Angeles and Las Vegas, packaged with accommodation and other added benefits.

The Adelaide event was sponsored by Los Angeles Tourism & Convention, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors, Travel Nevada and Destination D.C.

Destination specialist Eclipse Travel is holding an intimate event for travel agents on Wednesday 5th October at 6pm at the iconic Imperial Hotel in Paddington. Guests will enjoy drinks and gourmet canapés at the hotel’s Social Club and one lucky agent will win a famil to Peru.

Travel Counsellors experience the best of the Philippines

A group of Travel Counsellors agents from all over Australia recently returned from a sunshine-filled famil trip to The Philippines hosted by MW Tours. Taking in the sights of the popular tourist hotspots of Manila, Cebu and Boracay, the seven-day tour included a wide range of exciting activities covering everything from the culture to the cuisine of this nation made up of more than 7000 islands.

Attended by Kate Trickett, Lorie Raymundo, Vivienne Smith and Mihaela Gale, the group got to get in touch with the culture, cuisine, history and natural environment of The Philippines while also inspecting a range of properties to keep up-to-date with the best places to stay and play. From kicking back on the world-famous, white-sand beaches of Boracay, to exploring the Spanish-influenced city of Cebu and indulging in a spot of shopping in Manila, the group were treated to some of the very best experiences this country has to offer.
