Cheaper ski pass returns
Skiers and snowboarders who are already wishing the next ski season is upon them can relax knowing that the best value ski pass is making a comeback.
Vail Resorts have announced the return of the Epic Pass, a ski pass allowing ultimate season-long access to the world’s best ski and snowboard locations across the US and Australia.
Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts said the Epic Pass continues to set the bar in terms of value in the skiing industry.
“From unrestricted access to iconic resorts across more than 32,000 acres of skiable terrain, to year-round access to the mountains, our mission is clear – providing an accessible, world-class experience for our guests.
“The Epic Pass provides our guests with ultimate ease and flexibility to revisit their favourite resorts, plus an opportunity to sample new destinations every year,” she said.
With just one purchase of $809 for adults, seasoned skiers and beginners can experience the slopes of 9 world-class resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Arapahoe and Keystone in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe; and Perisher in Australia.
If travelling far isn’t on the cards, guests in America can purchase the Epic Local Pass for $609 for unlimited access to the slopes of Beckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin and limited restrictions for skiing in Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood.
Purchasing now will lock in up to 35 per cent of savings compared to buying individual ski passes.
