Travel Counsellors mingle with Australia

Travel Counsellors recently wrapped up a series of consumer roadshows that graced ten locations across the country.

Attended by thousands of keen travel lovers, the roadshows visited the states of New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria, and included stops at Newcastle, Mooloolaba, Hobart, Wollongong, Ballarat, Parkwood, Chatswood, Mornington, Geelong and Adelaide.

Featuring informative presentations from more than 25 suppliers including Jetstar, Intrepid Travel, Etihad, Royal Caribbean, APT, G Adventures, and more, the roadshows covered everything from river cruising to adventure travel and coach tours.

Refreshments and tasty canapés were on hand at each event, while some very lucky door prizes and a major prize draw were given away.

The major prize featured an Intrepid Food Adventure to Thailand, including return Jetstar flights for two on offer.

“These roadshows are a great way for Travel Counsellors to connect with the community. In all of the locations our agents and suppliers were able to link with existing clients and potential new customers in a fun, casual environment,” Travel Counsellors’ gm for Australia, Tracy Parkinson, said.

“By offering expert advice and travel inspiration in an informal setting, we were able to attract large numbers of attendees in both metropolitan and regional areas.

“This indicates that there is a thirst for travel knowledge within the Australian community and that the highly personalised approach to booking travel that we take is well received by Australians who value the high level of customer service that we provide.”
