AOT wins contract extension

AOTHotels Government Services division, a part of AOT Group, has had its government contract extended for two years.

The company was reappointed by the Department of Finance as the sole provider of domestic Accommodation Program Management Services to over 190 Commonwealth Entities for the Whole of Australian Government.

The Accommodation Program Services encompasses hotel accommodation for official travel, relocations, groups, conferences and hotel based venue hire, it said.

“It recognises the hard work and vision by both AOT and the Department of Finance over the last 3 years to deliver the objectives of the WoAG Accommodation Program for the Commonwealth” AOT Group ceo, Andrew Burnes.

“We have continued to deliver on the objectives of the WoAG Accommodation Program by providing efficiencies to Commonwealth entities via our substantial supplier range, dedicated WoAG rates and allotments, utilising AOT’s online technology and TMC Online Booking Tools. These have delivered significant savings and provided an extremely diverse supplier range meeting the needs of the Commonwealth.

The contract has now been extended to 30 June 2017.
