TC booking system soars like a Phenix

Travel Counsellors had continued to shoot its in-house booking system into the stars.

TC’s world-class system, Phenix, has added a wide variety of travel products to its current offering, allowing Travel Counsellors agents to access wholesale prices and live availabilities for world leading cruise operators.

In addition, TC has added a range of low cost flights operated by a number of low-cost carriers.

This represents a big jump for Travel Counsellors, as Phenix is the only system that currently enables Australian agents to access wholesale cruise prices and flights operated by low-cost carriers.

Phenix-Low-Cost

Travel Counsellors agents have welcomed the latest Phenix update, with some agents already booking cruise travel through the system.

“I specialise in booking cruises and with cruising becoming more popular in the last few years, I’m really pleased that the Phenix system now includes wholesale rates and live availability for cruising, as it will enable me to sell cruises products much more efficiently,” Brisbane Travel Counsellor Hayley Voll said.

“Being able to see live availability is a great feature of the system, which will ultimately save time and allow me to turn around bookings more quickly.”

The company continue to work on Phenix to enable agents to sell the best products and prices for their customers, while still pumping their own earning potential and margins.

It’s newly developed integrated ‘shopping basket’ quote system that allows agents to track all enquiries and build complex itineraries has also proven hugely beneficial in saving agents’ time when putting quotes together.

Travel Counsellors Australia GM Tracy Parkinson said Phenix is fast becoming the ultimate tool for agents.

“This latest update to the Phenix system is a real win for agents who specialise in booking cruises, and we’re very pleased that we’re the only travel company to have our own, highly sophisticated system that allows agents to access cruise operator wholesale prices and flights operated by low cost carrier,” she said.

“As the travel industry changes, we too are also evolving so that we can continue to offer a service that is unmatched in the industry.”
