SIAH and Princess take competition by storm

Two new partners have emerged, taking new land/air/cruise packages to the world in 2015.

Singapore Airlines Holidays and Princess Cruises have gone and made it official, taking on the competition in a new way, and just as two golden anniversaries grace the pair.

Princess Cruises is celebrating 50 years of operation, while Singapore is marking the milestone bicentenary of its independence.

Princess Cruises’ head of sales Brett Wendorf said the cruise line is overjoyed with the partnership with Singapore Airlines Holidays and Wendy Wu Tours.

“Cruising in Asia is about to witness substantial growth, and with our beautiful Sapphire Princess based out of Singapore, we see working with an Asian specialist operator and wholesaler as a way to provide the industry and travellers with innovative and dynamic product,” he said.

The new match up features the Treasures of Asia tour aboard Dawn Princess, departing Fremantle on July 25 and making full day stops at beach resort towns in Bali, Phuket, the islands of Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia, and the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, before wrapping up in Singapore.

After docking, spend four nights exploring Singapore’s many attractions and join in the celebrations of Singapore’s 50th year of independence from Malaysia, with events taking place around the city.

Priced from $4490 per person twin share, the package also includes a one-way economy class airfare back to Perth, a half-day city tour in Singapore, daily breakfast in Singapore, all main meals, entertainment and an array of activities on board the Dawn Princess, all taxes, port expenses, and fuel surcharge.
