By admin

The Solomon Islands will be more accessible for Australians as Solomon Airlines announces the launch of a new direct Sydney to Honiara return service.

The service is scheduled to operate from 2 June, 2015, ex-Honiara on Mondays and ex-Sydney on Tuesdays, subject to government approval.

To herald the new service, the airline is offering an introductory airfare of $599 inclusive of taxes, in-flight meals, entertainment and a 30 kilo baggage allowance.

Offering major potential for the Solomon Islands business, leisure and VFR markets, the Sydney service is timed to offer seamless connections both domestically and internationally.

The Sydney direct service will add to Solomon Airlines existing Brisbane-Honiara services, departing Brisbane to Honiara (Flight 701) departing Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and returning Honiara to Brisbane (Flight IE 700) on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

The $599 introductory fares are valid for sale from now until 28 February 2015 and valid for travel from 02 June to 10 August 2015.
