Wyndham Hotel Group and Sabre Corporation have announced a global strategic technology partnership that will provide cloud-based, advanced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) reservations, revenue management and enhanced security solutions to Wyndham properties.

As part of this agreement, Wyndham Hotel Group expects to migrate over 4,500 of its North American properties to Sabre’s SynXis Property Manager beginning mid-2015.

This turnkey system will offer hotel owners an integrated revenue management system that will optimise rates, occupancy and revenue per available room, as well as enhancing hotel-level security with credit card capabilities designed to support chip and pin technology.

 

 

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled its 2016/17 Australia and New Zealand cruise season, with the vessel Celebrity Solstice returning for a fifth local season with 18 cruises to 35 ports in 10 countries.

Ranging from seven to 18 nights, cruises depart from Sydney, Auckland, Singapore and Honolulu and sail to destinations in Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Hawaii, New Caledonia, Fiji, Loyalty Islands, Vanuatu, and Indonesia.

Celebrity Solstice’s Australasian season has been extended for 2016/17 to allow Australian families to take advantage of the Easter long weekend and school holidays in 2017, and also takes into account a number of special events including the famous Art Deco Fair in Napier, New Zealand, with bookings open from December 6.

Mantra Group has ‘wrapped up’ their year in the true spirit of Christmas by donating gifts for 1300 kids.

This year the Group broke their record from last year and donated more than 1300 gifts across the country to support children in a number of Red Cross programs including migration support, young parents, homestay and family support.

Mantra Group has been a national humanity partner with Australian Red Cross for over five years and supports their Good Start Breakfast Club, an initiative in schools which provides nutritious breakfast and nutritional education for children in greatest need across Australia.

New Mauritius online training is now live, with a trip for two to Mauritius up for grabs for participants in the program.

The modules are targeted at front line sales consultants to help them understand how best to sell this exotic island paradise off the coast of Africa.

The workshop covers the basics of where it is and how to get there as well as looking at the tourism infrastructure across the island – from resorts to activities.
