Brand USA’s annual mega-famil has kicked off in Memphis, with ten Australian and New Zealand agents treated to live music as well as musical history.

Qantas partnered with the trade mission to fly 47 agents to five destinations across the United States. They include Colorado, Utah, Tennessee, NYC/Washington and Texas.

The theme for the family is “Let US entertain you” and live music is included in all family itineraries.

The Tennessee famil group spent the first night at a live eight-piece blues band concert at renowned establishment B.B.King’s. this was followed by a walking tour of legendary Beale Street.

The first day of the family saw the agents pay homage to the King at Graceland after learning the roots of the rock and blues movement at the Rock and Blues museum located downtown.

Southern hospitality has been a key theme so far, with hearty fare such as barbecue of pulled pork and dry ribs.

The agents then experienced the STAX museum in Soulsville – the soul of soul music.

The famil will continue on to other Memphis sites tomorrow before journeying to Nashville.
