Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa will be rebranded under its new owner, One&Only Resort following a deal by South African billionaire hotelier, Sol Kerzner.
The Australian newspaper reports the Emirates-owned six-star resort in NSW will be the second for the resort brand after opening Hayman Island earlier this year following an extensive $80 million refurb.
According to the paper, Kerzner had previously stated his intentions to find and rebrand more luxury properties to One&Only branded resorts in Australia.
ATAS general manager, Gary O'Riordan has anticipated that over 80% of the industry will be ATAS accredited by the New Year.
"Over 2,300 travel agent locations across Australia have already embraced the new industry scheme by becoming accredited and a further 550 entity applications are being processed," O'Riordan said.
Furthermore, the recent Government Campaign "Pack some peace of mind" has received an impressive 32 million consumer interactions online.
