AAT Kings invites agents to come aboard for a bowl
By admin

For the next six weeks, AAT Kings will be making its way to agencies across Australia in a bus specially refitted with the world’s first mobile indoor lawn bowls green.

The partnership with Bowls Australia, Grassman and Scania, has seen the company strip the interior of one of its luxury vehicles, remove almost all seats and replace them with a “state-of-the-art” lawn bowls green.

It will visit more than 60 regional towns and metropolitan cities during July and August, with community organisations and travel agency partners coming on board to help put on free events for potential guests.

The initiative builds on the company’s relaunch last October and underlines the firm’s commitment to working with its trade partners at “every opportunity”, according to AAT Kings managing director Anthony Hayes.

“So while this is obviously all a bit of fun, it also allows us to team up with our key retail partners throughout regional Australia and to show them how much we appreciate what they do for us,” he said.

“We want to engage with local communities via our regional partners, while giving people a better sense of what we’re all about. Ultimately, we want to make people smile.”

At each stop some great holiday offers will be up for grabs including a $100 discount voucher given to every person who has a bowl.

A full list of dates, times and locations can be found on www.aatkings.com/mobile-lawn-bowls. The mobile indoor lawn bowls green will then return to Sydney in late August for a Guinness World Record attempt for the “longest marathon playing indoor bowls”.
