Helloworld boasts growth but tight-lipped on store tally

Helloworld has claimed that its momentum “continues to build” although its management still refuses to disclose the number of stores that have taken on the new travel brand.

Chief executive Elizabeth Gaines reported an increase in the number of stores that are receiving upgraded Helloworld signage with store refreshes taking place at a “rapid rate”.

“Most of our fully branded locations are due to be upgraded with Helloworld branding by the end of June,” she said. 

“15 Ambassador stores have been refitted, which includes new branding, design, layout, interiors and furniture.”

While Gaines said the company is receiving “very positive feedback” from agents and customers on the new brand, the company once again declined to reveal the number of agents that have made the transition.

“We cannot supply any further information at this point,” a spokesperson said.

The continued refusal to disclose the number of fully branded stores has led to speculation that the tally has failed to meet expectations.
