The founder and chief executive of luxury travel trade show Luxperience has confirmed she will take a background role, with former director of sales and partner alliances, Lindy Andrews, to step up to the top position.

Andrews becomes chief executive from today and will drive the event towards its target of at least 50% growth in 2014. This year’s show attracted 148 exhibitor and more than 300 buyers.

"Lindy has a proven track record in generating business results," Logas said. "She played a key role in the major success of Luxperience 2013. She is the right person to consolidate our achievement and grow the brand."

Strategic partnerships and building awareness will be the priorities for Andrews in the new role.

“We will retain the intimacy of high quality B2B buyer-seller interactions which were a hallmark of a very productive Luxperience this year,” Andrews said.

Meanwhile, sales manager Eric Lewanavanua has been promoted to director of sales and partner alliances and will be responsible for overall sales and negotiation of stakeholder partnerships.

In another move, Eric Lewanavanua has been promoted from Sales Manager to Director of Sales and Partner Alliances at Luxperience.

Next year’s show will take place from August 31 to September 3 in Sydney, with early bird registrations now open.
