Skywest draws up Virgin timetable

Skywest draws up Virgin timetable
By admin

The last day of trading of Skywest shares on the Australian Stock Exchange is expected to be March 27 as the carrier drew up a new timetable for its takeover by Virgin Australia.

Skywest last week filed an application to the High Court of Singapore, from which it needs approval for the deal, with a hearing set for March 26.

Assuming there is no delay, the last day of trading on the ASX and on the London Stock Exchange will be the following day.

It is anticipated that Skywest will be removed from the ASX on April 11.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Investment Review Board today confirmed it has no objections to the deal.
