USA pushes lifetime of holidays
By admin

Brand USA has invested $1.5 million in its first advertising campaign to Australian consumers.

Australian visitation numbers have doubled in the seven years from 2005 to 2012, reaching 1.12 million in 2012.

"Visitation from Australia to the U.S. is at an all time high and currently, Australia is the ninth largest international market for the U.S.,” Brand USA strategy director Australia Joe Ponte said.

"It’s not just a once in a lifetime holiday destination; the U.S. offers a lifetime of holidays and that’s what we’ve tried to portray in this first TV commercial," Ponte said.

The advertisement features the daughter of Johnny Cash as well as unknown regions of the US.

“Brand USA’s goal is continue to sustain and grow this market by showcasing to Australians the limitless possibilities that are on offer in the United States," Ponte said.

The campaign will run until April this year and is part of a global marketing campaign.
