This Pad Thai is about to go viral

A new cooking video demonstrating the art of cooking classic Thai dish Pad Thai is expected to go viral by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The TAT launched the video as part of its Amazing Thailand Discover Amazing Stories initiative.

TAT governor Dr. Yuthasak Supasorn said the initiative’s aim is to attract travellers from around the world to experience everyday “Thainess” through the authentic experiences that make the destination unique.

Check out the two minute video here:

“As you can see the Pad Thai video offers an incredible insight into the history, culture, tradition, and beautiful landscapes of Thailand within just two minutes,” Dr Supasorn said.

“Like how the video ends, this is the story of Pad Thai, but there are thousands of other stories to discover. So on behalf of the Thai people, I would like to extend our warm invitation to all tourists and travellers from around the world to come and discover your amazing stories in Amazing Thailand.”

The Pad Thai viral video marketing has attracted over 1.5 million views in the few days after it was posted on the TAT social media channels, he added.
