Ally Solomou starts as Business Development Executive NSW & ACT for Club Med Sydney office

Ally Solomou

Solomou started her career in the travel industry in 2015, as a consultant at Flight Centre, after a life changing trip to Japan.

She worked there for three years, rising through the ranks to assistant manager and acting manager, and becoming being a top consultant, earning her a spot on the annual top achievers conference in Hawaii in 2017.

Solomou looks forward to developing relationships with travel agents and agencies alike across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, as well as visiting the amazing resorts Club Med have to offer.

In her spare time, Solomou enjoys practicing yoga, dancing ballet, cooking, and of course, traveling to new and exciting places.

Her favourite quote is: “Travel is the only thing you buy which makes you richer”, and is something she lives by.

Pandaw appoints Shannon Morgan as Director of Sales, Australasia

Pandaw Cruises, a boutique collection of 17 river cruise experiences in some of the world’s most exotic destinations through Indochina, has announced the appointment of Shannon Morgan, as Director of Sales Australasia, effective from Monday 24th April, 2018.

Morgan most recently served as Business Development Manager Qld, for Wendy Wu Tours where he was an integral part of the successful growth of the company’s portfolio.

Prior to his role at Wendy Wu Tours, Morgan worked with wholesale travel company Globus Family of Brands and Adventure World in sales and events giving him a strong insight into the industry as it has evolved across the last decade.

With degrees in commerce from UNISA and a Post Grad Certificate in Senior Education, plus Certificate III in Tourism and Financial Services, Morgan was also head of Economics & Management Sciences at Shangri La Academy giving him a strong business background, making him ideally suited to become part of the Pandaw worldwide team as the group grows market share across the globe.

AVPartners promotes Daniel Watters to Partner at Crown Perth

Daniel Watters has been promoted to Partner at Crown Perth. The role will see Watters managing a team delivering creative audiovisual (AV) solutions for meetings, conferences, gala dinners and other events at the popular Perth venue.

Watters previously worked as an Associate at the venue.

Watters has extensive experience in delivering world class event experiences, with strong technical knowledge and client management skills.

This, combined with an innovative outlook and passion for his work, has given him a unique skill set at AVPartners.

Prior to joining AVPartners in 2014, Watters gained over a decade of experience in the AV industry working as an AV technician and event manager.

Commenting on his new role, Watters said, “I’m extremely proud of this opportunity. I look forward to leading the AVPartners team at Crown Perth and building on our already successful reputation.”

Anita Sedlan starts as Omni Channel Sales Expert at Club Med Sydney office

Club Med Australia welcomes the arrival of Anita Sedlan in a new position of Omni Channel Sales Expert.

Sedlan started her career with Club Med’s external Call Centre partner Bluelink Services as a Club Med consultant in August 2010 and has grown and achieved success in different roles of Team Specialist and then Supervisor.

Her strong knowledge of sales and the insights gained while in daily contact withClub Med Travel Agents and customers will be precious in her exciting new position.
