BIG FAT AGENT WRAP
PTM’s go the extra mile for client involved in Fort Lauderdale shooting
Travel Managers’ Personal Travel Managers (PTM), Deborah Davies and Kerry Bianchi, assisted a client who was caught up in the tragic shooting at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida last weekend.
The clients, who were not receiving any meaningful assistance from the airline staff on the ground or their Online Travel Agent (OTA), reached out to Travel Managers PTM’s who were quickly alerted of the situation, and thanks to the company’s NPO Disaster Management Plan, were able to respond to passengers affected timely.
“Emergencies, natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents and illnesses do not always happen conveniently between 9am and 5pm as this tragic situation shows. The ability to work anytime, day or night on any booking truly shows that TravelManagers really offers a superior level of personal service and flexibility to all clients,” says TravelManagers’ Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal.
