This hidden gem retains its much-beloved sense for romance and privacy, but is expanded with more luxury amenities to cater for the higher-standard traveller. The resort’s original six rooms has now more than doubled to 15 discreet villas with air-conditioning; private balconies; raised stand-alone baths; and some with their own pools. Tamanu on the Beach’s renowned fine dining restaurant returns as well, showcasing local produce with a Melanesian twist. For more information www.tamanuonthebeach.com.
