Zac Efron has fallen prey to the dreaded rake-to-the-face gaffe while filming season two of his travel show, Down to Earth.
The US actor, who recently took up residency in Byron Bay, posted a video of the incident on his Instagram, showing Efron walking, suspiciously cautiously, past a veggie garden and treading on the claws of a rake which springs up towards him.
Efron goes to catch the rake, which hits his hand and causes him to double over and grab his face in mock surprise.
“Who put this rake here,” he said in the caption.

The High School Musical actor and general heartthrob experienced the mishap while filming an episode of his Netflix series that explores nature, cultures and sustainable living around the world, according to Yahoo News.
The first season saw Efron experiencing destinations across the globe such as Iceland, Costa Rica and Sardinia.
In March, Efron posted an image of himself on an adventure in his new home, Australia with the caption “Here we go – Down to Earth season 2!”.
