Watch: Qantas unveils dreamy new ad campaign

What better way to start your Monday than to dream of your next holiday? You have Qantas to thank for this one.

Because, you guessed it, they’ve released a new ad campaign! Obviously equipped with stunning landscape shots and wanderlust-worthy music, the series was released yesterday across Aussie broadcast, digital, outdoor and social media platforms.

Developed by Clemenger BBDO Sydney for Qantas, the campaign highlights the airline’s extensive international and domestic network – featuring destinations like Hawaii, Japan and South Africa, as well as destinations in our very own backyard.

The ad taps into Australians’ love of travel, with the tagline ‘no one travels like Australians – and no one takes us to the world like Qantas’ accompanying it.

And the aforementioned wanderlust-worthy music?  A reinvented version of Geoff Mack’s 1959 ‘I’ve Been Everywhere,’ recorded by Australian musician Lisa Mitchell. Don’t tell us this isn’t relaxing.

Twelve destinations are included in the campaign – and the series shows Australian travellers enjoying experiences in countries that Qantas operates to, including surfing in Waikiki, hiking in Yosemite, strolling through the historic streets of Kyoto and going on safari in South Africa.

Experiences in Australia are also featured such as watching the sunset at Uluru.

Qantas together with its airline partners flies to over 1,000 destinations including 150 destinations across North America, 40 European cities, 50 Asia destinations and over 60 Australian destinations.
