Virgin Voyages says “G’Day” ahead of Resillient Lady’s Aussie arrival
Edited by Travel Weekly

Like an Irish backpacker who just turned 25, Virgin Voyages is going Down Under.

This week, the cruise line celebrated the Resilient Lady’s arrival to Australian shores in December.

Having launched its newest ship, Resilient Lady, this May, Virgin Voyages made waves yet again and by taking the excitement to Sydney, Brisbane and Resilient Lady’s homeport of Melbourne via a series of VIP events hosted by travel television presenter and influencer, Teigan Nash.

Each VIP event allowed guests to step into the world of Virgin Voyages’ elevated experiences, getting a deeper understanding of how the new brand sets itself apart from the pack with unique approaches to dining, interior design, on-board amenities, immersive shore excursions and entertainment.

Inspired by the company’s new “Now We’re Voyaging” campaign, the events included quintessential brand touches like a Virgin red carpet, on-the-spot customised luggage tags, multiple photo moments and fun, branded giveaways.

Nathan Rosenberg, chief brand officer said: “We had such a great time in Australia to celebrate before our beautiful Resilient Lady makes a big splash Down Under. As an Aussie native, I know how much Aussies love travelling, so we are excited to be delivering a holiday experience we know they will love and never forget!”

Travellers interested in Setting Sail the Virgin Way can take advantage of the Virgin Voyages’ limited-time offer: book between 25 July and 30 September and snag 30 per cent off all local South Pacific sailings, plus a complimentary $150 Bar Tab to use for cocktails, specialty coffees or Virgin Voyages’ special Shake for Champagne feature.
