Travellers Choice expands national BDM team with new hire

Travellers Choice today announced the appointment of Paula Moylan as its newest national business development manager, further expanding the group’s agency sales support team.

As one of three national business development managers, Moylan will now support the local sales and marketing activities of Travellers Choice members across the country, while also liaising with the group’s preferred suppliers.

Moylan is well known to Travellers Choice members, having previously spent almost four years as the company’s business development manager for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

She returns to the group after 18 months working with Sydney-based hospitality group C!NC, where she was employed as business development manager accommodation and events.

General manager – sales, Nicola Strudwick, said Moylan will integrate seamlessly into Travellers Choice’s national sales team.

“Paula not only understands our group’s culture and the unique needs of independent travel businesses, she enjoys close and enduring relationships with many Travellers Choice members,” said Strudwick.

“No one is better equipped to help members across our national network benefit from the many opportunities for growth and success that today’s trading conditions present to travel businesses.”

Earlier this month Travellers Choice received a perfect score in its annual Member Survey, with 100 per cent of agents ‘satisfied’ or ‘more than satisfied’ with their membership of the award-winning national travel group. This year’s survey generated overwhelmingly positive feedback on the quality and range of services and support members receive.

“It is particularly pleasing for us to now further expand and enrich that support by adding additional resources and experience to our national sales support team,” said Strudwick.
