Travellers Choice castaway agents for conference

Travellers Choice plans to hold the first Aussie conference aboard P&O Cruises new Pacific Eden in November.

The travel group’s cruise experts will hit the high seas as part of the 2015 Travellers Choice Cruise Forum, taking place off the back of Travellers Choice’s Annual Shareholders’ Conference in Melbourne.

The cruisers will engage in a plenary session on November 22 at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park, before boarding Pacific Eden the following day.

The conference will be aboard her maiden Australian voyage, and will involve further plenary sessions in the ship’s conference facilities, along with a private inspection and hosted lunch.

P&O Cruises will introduce two new vessels to its Australian fleet in November 2015 – Pacific Eden and Pacific Aria – giving it a record five vessels in local waters.

Travellers Choice marketing manager Robyn Mitchell said the 2015 Cruise Forum will involve a range of guest speakers, as well as presentations from key preferred suppliers and some of the group’s top selling cruise members.

“Cruise is such a key element of the Australian travel industry and our Forum is designed to ensure that Travellers Choice members collectively retain a keen focus on the sector,” Mitchell said.

“The event is also an opportunity for our members to provide feedback on how Travellers Choice is supporting them in their efforts to grow cruise sales.”

“The more we understand which activities deliver the greatest benefit to members in enquiries and sales, and listen to their suggestions to diversify or improve our strategy, the better we are able to tailor promotions with our cruise partners so that our members enjoy even more success.”
