Travel DAZE 2020 speaker spotlight: Karina O’Gorman, IHG

With Travel DAZE 2020 less than a month away, we’re introducing you one by one to the speakers who will grace the virtual stage.

Next up is Karina O’Gorman, who has been with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) since 2018 as its head of corporate responsibility, looking at global community strategy and ESG reporting, as well as business partnering for the Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa region.

Prior to joining IHG, Karina was head of corporate social responsibility for Pentland Brands, where she led the team to ensure the family of brands in the outdoor, sports and footwear space operated sustainably.

O’Gorman also previously led the corporate responsibility agendas for L’Oréal in the UK, Microsoft and BlackBerry. She has also overseen fundraising efforts for NGOs The MS Society in the UK and Médecins Sans Frontières in the Middle East.

Check out who else will be lining up alongside IHG’s corporate responsibility chief at Travel DAZE 2020 here.

The event (which will be the only industry event of its scale in Australia this year) will virtually bring together the best minds from within the travel sector, along with external experts, to foster its recovery from COVID-19.

Presented by the Italian National Tourist Board, Travel DAZE 2020 will explore what tangible steps business owners, travel agents, tour operators, marketers, and communication specialists can take toward rebuilding a sustainable and profitable future.

The conference will kick off on Monday 2 November and finish up on Friday 6 November, and the best part is that it’s absolutely FREE!
