Tigerair makes some changes to online booking process

Tigerair Australia has removed pre-selection of travel insurance and checked baggage during its booking process on online platforms today.

Tigerair Australia will continue to highlight these and other options throughout the booking process to assist customers in making the right choices to suit their travel needs.

The airline still recommends that customers purchase travel insurance given its importance in the event of any disruption or change of circumstance. Additionally, they are gives customers the opportunity to purchase checked baggage at a cost-effective price during the booking process as it is always much higher to pay it for at the airport.

All fees and charges continue to be outlined in the Tigerair Australia booking process to provide full transparency to our customers.

    1. Their so called travel insurance is utterly useless, i can’t think of any real scenario where it would cover you for anything, it seems to exclude everything. Unless I’m confusing regular travel insurance with Tiger’s so called cancellation insurance that they tried to flog to a group booking i made. It wouldn’t even cover the group if Tiger decided the flight was cancelled due to lack of profitability!
