The Travel Junction and VisitBritain partner on trade campaign
The Travel Junction, the trade-only online wholesaler of global hotels, wholesale airfares and experiences, is pleased to announce a new co-operative campaign with VisitBritain.
Available now to book via The Travel Junction’s HELiO platform, travel advisors can access the most compelling curated self-drive journeys, city and regional stays in Great Britain.
The itineraries showcase the best of Britain and invite Australians to come see things differently in 2023.
From the awe-inspiring scenery of the Scottish Highlands; Wales’ Snowdonia National Park, and the North of England’s Lake District to the vibrant towns and cities of London, Manchester, Liverpool, Bath, Birmingham, Newcastle, Stratford-upon-Avon and Cardiff, there’s a wealth of treasures waiting to be discovered.
With individual HELiO Package Codes to instantly access compelling self-drive itineraries across Great Britain with holiday packages starting from just $855 per person.
Examples include:
- North of England Explorer – 7 nights / 8 days Self Drive with Car Hire featuring Manchester, York, Kendal (for the Lake District), Lancaster and Liverpool – from $1,569 per person twin share.
- Visit the vibrant cities of Liverpool and Manchester, world-famous for football and music. Wander and shop the medieval streets of York, before exploring the Lake District – the National Park packed with super-sized scenery.
- Scotland is Calling – 8 nights / 9 days Self Drive with Car Hire featuring Edinburgh, Stirling, Pitlochry, Inverness, Fort William, and Glasgow from $1,999 per person twin share.
- From the Highlands to the buzzing cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scotland has so many faces. From hiking majestic mountains to wandering pristine beaches, look beyond the bagpipes for a Scotland you’ll never forget.
- London City Break – 3 nights / 4 days featuring Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel, London and 1 day Go City® Pass from $1,129 per person twin share
- An unmissable destination for travellers, London is a melting pot of history, culture, green spaces and an international crowd that spills into every delicious corner of its cuisine. From street foods to Shakespeare performed where the Bard once stood, Britain’s biggest city has it all.
The Travel Junction’s highest selling Travel Advisor during the campaign period will enjoy their own London City Break. This fabulous prize includes 3 nights at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel, London including breakfast and a 1 day Go City® Pass for two people.
Additionally, from today until 10 March 2023, Great Britain accommodation bookings will earn travel advisors a competitive ‘up to 15% commission’ for travel and stays until 31 December 2023. The accelerated commission incentive is offered exclusively to travel advisors that book via The Travel Junction’s HELiO platform.
Combined with land arrangements from just three nights, advisors can also take advantage of wholesale airfares available in HELiO with no ticketing or credit card fees. Every Great Britain booking also earns advisors maximum bonus points in The Travel Junction’s annual incentive, with the chance to participate in an epic trip in August 2023 for its 15 top sellers.
“We are extremely excited to partner with VisitBritain and are confident that this exciting new campaign will be hugely in demand. We know the great affinity Australian travellers have for Great Britain and having just returned from Scotland and London participating in VisitBritain’s Showcase Britain trade show, I was able to personally experience some amazing new products that we’ve been able to incorporate in our new curated itineraries – just in time for our guests to experience year-round,” James Whiting, General Manager at The Travel Junction said.
“We’re enabling our trade partners to easily access city break and self-drive curated packages itineraries that we’ve developed in conjunction with the VisitBritain team to showcase this timeless and wonderful destination.”
The campaign exemplifies The Travel Junction’s commitment to drive Australian travel to Great Britain.”
Maria Sykes, Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand at VisitBritain says the partnership comes off the back of accelerated demand and tremendous growth in 2022.
“We’re thrilled to be working with The Travel Junction to develop a wealth of new packages that invite Aussies to come and see not just the best of Britain but which showcase how they can see Britain differently in 2023. Recent research* conducted by VisitBritain reconfirms that agents remain a key source of trust and expert knowledge for Australians when planning trips to Britain, and so we’re delighted to partner with The Travel Junction to ensure agents are well positioned to convert the increasing demand into bookings.”
