Aussies heading to Tahiti no longer have to worry about forms, proof of vaccination, or any COVID-related travel restrictions.

Health passes, proof of full vaccination schedule and “a compelling reason for travel” are no longer required to enter  Tahiti.

Travellers are no longer required to present a certificate of non-contamination and a commitment to perform an antigenic test or a biological examination upon arrival to the French Polynesian Island.

Unvaccinated travellers are also no longer required to perform tests to travel to French Polynesia as a whole.

Transit passengers in New Zealand do not require proof of vaccination, however, travellers who stay in New Zealand on their way to French Polynesia must comply with the entry requirements of local authorities.

Travellers to French Polynesia with a stopover or transit in the US must however comply with the entry requirements of the US authorities, even if they don’t plan to leave the airport.

Travellers can find more information and updates on Tahiti’s entry requirements HERE.
