Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion makes waves

Visitors are flocking to this year’s Expo Milano to behold the pavilion of the Sultanate of Oman Tourism.

In keeping with the ‘Heritage in Harvest: Harnessing the Sea, Sun and Sand’ theme, the pavilion is divided into areas symbolising water, the oasis, the sea and the traditions. It strives to impart upon visitors an authentic representation of Oman.

To enhance Oman’s presence in Milan, the Sultanate is being showcased in an international photographic exhibition commissioned by the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Tourism and curated by Anna Premoli.

The ‘Oman | Harvest Beyond Landscapes’ exhibition features 50 photos from 16 international photographers and runs until 27 May, 2015.
