Scenic reveals agent winners from ‘Night of Stars’
Over the weekend, Scenic held its much-anticipated annual Night of Stars event, recognising the achievements of the top performing travel agencies and consultants in Australia and New Zealand.
Held on Saturday, 3 February at Ivy Ballroom in Sydney, more than 200 guests attended the prestigious evening, which was hosted by comedian Vince Sorrenti.
During the ceremony, five national honours were presented, along with awards to the top offices in each state.
Eleven agents were awarded Diamond status for 2017 as part of Scenic’s elite partner program, while Scenic’s Queensland Sales Development Manager Sara Puglia was announced as Scenic’s Sales Development Manager of the Year.
To mark Scenic’s 10 year anniversary of river cruise innovation, four special Scenic Enrich awards were also presented to agents in recognition of their support since the first Scenic Space-Ship was launched in 2008.
The awards went to:
- Adam Pearson and the teams at Escape Travel Charlestown, Glendale, Kotara, Mt Hutton and Toronto;
- Debbie Rains and the teams at Escape Travel Townsville, Willows, Castletown North, Mackay and Rockhampton;
- Renee Nightingale and the teams at helloworld Albury and Wangaratta and
- Shane Edwards and the team at Travelkey Leederville.
Group General Manager, Sales & Marketing Australia/Asia Pacific, Anthony Laver, extended his congratulations to all the nominees and winners, while sharing some other exciting news about a fresh ship launch.
Following the extraordinary global interest in Scenic’s soon-to-launch 6-star Scenic Eclipse, Scenic has announced its flagship will be joined by a sister ship, Scenic Eclipse II. Read more about this story here.
“This year, we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Scenic river cruise innovation, the launch of the World’s First Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse, and the announcement of Scenic Eclipse II.
