Scenic launches global e-learning platform for agents

Luxury cruise and tour operator Scenic has launched a new global e-learning platform for travel agents.

Scenic’s Agent Academy provides custom-built product training courses for agent partners across its group of brands – Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours, and Evergreen Cruises and Tours.

Emma Davie, director of trade sales and commercial partnerships at Scenic, said the new training platform has been developed in conjunction with key agents in Australia to provide a central point for detailed product training and updates.

“This e-learning portal is a valuable new industry tool offering quick, easy-to-complete courses on a continuing basis to assist agents better understand and sell our product portfolio, enabling them to broaden their knowledge and better service their client’s needs,” she said.

“Four courses will be available as of the launch date of 30 January 2019. Throughout the year, new product courses will be offered aligned with product launches across the Scenic Group brand portfolio.

“The portal will provide unlimited 24-hour access on any digital device, with the ability to return mid-course allowing agents to learn at their own pace and convenience.”

As a launch incentive for agents to experience the Agent Academy, Scenic is offering $1000 Scenic Rewards points to the first consultant in each Australian state to complete the four launch courses by 28 February.

The next 50 to complete the courses will receive $100 Scenic rewards points.

“This will provide our agent partners with the most up-to-date product training in an easy-to-use, accessible tool that has been designed with industry input to ensure its effectiveness and success”.
