Royal Caribbean sets its sails on tomorrow

Royal Caribbean introduces its newest and most technologically advanced  cruise ship Anthem of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean International has marked the launch of Anthem of the Seas.

The world’s newest, most technologically advanced cruise ship hosted a naming ceremony, led by Godmother Emma Wilby, who took centre stage with the Welsh choir Only Boys Aloud to deliver the performance of her life.

Anthem of the Seas is setting sail on unprecedented innovations in ship design, activities, technology, entertainment and dining opportunities, to create a contemporary cruising experience.

Spanning 18 decks, at 167,800 gross registered tons, carrying 4,180 guests, and featuring 2,090 staterooms, Anthem of the Seas will sail out of the UK for her inaugural season.

Sister ship Ovation of the Seas will launch in April 2016 before arriving to her new Australian homeport in December 2016.
