Rail Plus extends Live Chat hours

Rail Plus extends Live Chat hours

Rail Plus is once again enriching its travel agent support services, with the company today announcing an extension of its ‘Live Chat’ hours from 7am-7pm.

Along with these hour extensions comes the introduction of a new enhancement that will allow consultants to copy and paste invoice details into their back office systems.

Available through the Rail Plus website, Live Chat enables agents to bypass phone queues and connect in real-time with the company’s specialist consultants.

Rail Plus’ chief executive James Dunne says the decision to extend the Live Chat hours reflects the fact that many agents today operate outside of traditional office hours.

“Live Chat is an exceptionally efficient support service, which is why it has proved so popular with consultants, particularly during peak times,” Dunne said.

“By extending the operating hours, we are now helping agents provide an even faster service to their clients.”

Dunne says agents will also welcome the fact that they can now copy and paste Rail Plus invoices into their back office system or into client itineraries.

“This is another example of Rail Plus investing in technology that not only saves agents time but provides greater flexibility and accuracy.”
